Scope is a remote MCP server at https://scope.online/mcp. Paste that URL into Claude Connectors, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude Code, add a Scope API key, and an agent can read your AI-visibility score, citations, and competitors without spending checks. Running a scan uses your Growth plan check pool (one check per tracked prompt). Agents draft fixes; they never publish to your site. AI visibility work is additive to Google SEO.
Endpoint: https://scope.online/mcp
How do I connect Claude?
Settings → Connectors → add custom connector → https://scope.online/mcp
Then ask: “How visible is my business in AI search?”
How do I connect Cursor?
.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"scope": {
"url": "https://scope.online/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <Scope API key>" }
}
}
}
How do I connect Claude Code?
claude mcp add --transport http scope https://scope.online/mcp
What can the agent do?
- Visibility score + per-engine breakdown (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity)
- List tracked prompts and committed check burn
- Competitor share of voice and citation gaps
- Readiness check on a URL you already monitor
- Draft schema / FAQ fixes — never publishes to your site
- Track prompts and refresh scans (Growth checks; cost is stated first)

How much does a scan cost?
Q: Do reads spend checks?
A: No. Reads spend no checks. run_scan uses one check per currently tracked prompt. check_prompt spends exactly one check. track_prompt is free now but adds committed burn.
Q: Can the agent publish to my website?
A: No. There is no publish_fix tool. Agents draft schema and FAQ fixes; you apply them.
Q: Do I need to pass a business ID?
A: Yes when the account has more than one business. whoami.weekly_brief is the primary business, not necessarily the one you are talking about.
