Welcome to Scope — your AI visibility intelligence platform. This guide walks you through everything you need to go from signup to your first scan result.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head to app.scope.online/auth and sign up with your email. No credit card is required to get started — your free scan is included.
Once you're in, you'll land on the Scope dashboard. The first thing you'll see is a prompt to add your first business.
Step 2: Add Your Business
Click Add Business and enter:
- Business name — use the exact name as it appears on Google, Yelp, and other directories. Consistency matters for AI recognition.
- Website URL — your primary domain (e.g.,
yoursite.com). - Business category — the industry or service type. This drives the prompt library Scope builds for you.
- Location — city and state (for local businesses). Skip if you're a SaaS product or e-commerce brand.
Hit Save and Scope will begin building your personalized prompt library in the background.
Step 3: Review Your Prompt Library
Once your business is added, navigate to Prompts in the left sidebar. Scope has pre-loaded 100+ prompts based on your category and location — these are the real queries people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity when looking for businesses like yours.
Examples you'll see:
- "Best [your category] in [your city]"
- "Who are the top [your service] near [your location]?"
- "Recommend a trusted [your category] for [specific need]"
You can add custom prompts at any time — great if you know specific queries your customers use.
Step 4: Run Your First Scan
Click Run Scan from the dashboard. Scope will fire each prompt at all four AI platforms and collect the responses. Your first scan takes about 60 seconds.
After the scan completes, you'll see:
- Your Visibility Score (0–100)
- Which prompts mention you — and which don't
- What your competitors are being recommended for
- Which platforms you're strongest on
Step 5: Set Up Daily Monitoring
Turn on Daily Monitoring from the Settings panel. From that point, Scope runs your full prompt library automatically every 24 hours — so you always have fresh data without lifting a finger.
You'll receive an email digest when your score changes significantly.

Q: How long does the first scan take? A: Your initial scan typically takes 45–90 seconds depending on the size of your prompt library. Subsequent daily scans run faster as Scope has already established baselines for your business.
Q: Can I add more than one business? A: Yes. Each Scope plan includes a certain number of business slots. You can add more businesses from the dashboard at any time, or upgrade your plan for additional slots.
